Make the Most of Your Point and Shoot (LLART 196) / Lifelong Learning

Learn to use your point-and-shoot camera and its various settings to make beautiful photographs for sharing and memories. We will demystify the sunset, beach, night, and flower settings; show you how and when to use your flash; demonstrate exposure compensation and how white balance can affect your end image; explore differing ISOs; and explain digital versus optical zoom. Learn to creatively use your camera to obtain the results you want! This very hands-on class is our most basic photography class and is excellent preparation for Nuts and Bolts (LLART 193) or Digital I (LLART 115).
