History of Utah ( HIST 4660 )

This course views Utah's history in terms of the forces that shaped it. More than any other state, Utah has been affected by a religious majority and this course emphasizes the Mormon period. But the state is more than the history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It encompasses a plethora of minority groups and circumstances.

Class Note: Educators considering this course for professional development/licensing purposes are strongly advised to consult with their state office of education licensing department prior to enrolling in this course.
