Intermediate Algebra ( MATH 1010 )

Students learn the basic operations of algebra such as absolute value, exponents, systems of linear equations and functions, polynomials, rational exponents and radicals, quadratic equations and inequalities, and multiplication and division of radical expressions, and exponential and logarithmic functions.

Prerequisite: High School Algebra

Class Note: This course can be applied toward the Secondary Mathematics Endorsements 2, 3 and 4 (teaching math to grades 7-12). Educators considering this course for professional development/licensing purposes are strongly advised to consult with their state office of education licensing department prior to enrolling in this course.
