As an introduction to the efficient management of family and personal finances, the course focuses on developing financial documents, budgeting, the use of consumer credit, its sources and costs, insurance, social security, income taxes, home ownership, investments, retirement, and estate planning. University of Utah Finance majors must take this course on campus.
