The University of Utah's College of Education now offeres graduate programs for educators in the St. George/southwest Utah area. Designed for working professionals, these master's degrees and licensure programs incorporate evening courses and delivery via Internet Video Conferencing to the U of U's site in St. George. Masters degrees are available in Special Education (M.Ed. in Professional Practice in Special Education), Educational Leadership and Policy (M.Ed. and/or PreK-12 Administrative Licensure Program), and Educational Psychology (M.Ed. in Professional Practice in School Counseling). Most M.Ed.s include an internship and/or practicum, which helps support the practical and theoretical foundations provided by the College of Education.
