Nursing Informatics Master's Program
A tremendous need for Nursing Informatics Specialists exists in today's
health care industry. Nursing Informatics integrates nursing science,
computer science, and information science to manage and communicate
data, information, knowledge and wisdom in nursing practice. U of U
students study and collaborate with students from biomedical informatics,
computer science, clinical disciplines, public health, genetics, bioengineering,
imaging, psychology, architecture, and genetics. Our internationally-known
faculty are experts in decision support, human-systems interaction,
database design, systems implementation, knowledge discovery, public
health, machine learning, and standard clinical languages.
