 English Language Institute Course Information: Graduate Preparation CourseELI 999 Graduate School Preparation This program is designed to help students prepare academically and linguistically for work in an American graduate school in the United States. It can also provide help to pass required graduate examinations. This program is available for current ELI students who have completed ELI's program or who have started the application process to a graduate program in the United States. Transfer or overseas students who have been admitted to a graduate program but who need to improve their academic and language skills or their examination scores can apply for an I-20 to study in the program. At the beginning of each eight-week session, students will meet with an instructor/coordinator who will help them organize a plan of study that will satisfy their needs. The instructor/coordinator will meet with each student at least three times during the session to evaluate the student's progress.
