Fraud – Perspectives of a fraud finder.
We're more than three years into the economic recovery and there's still considerable uncertainty regarding the federal budget deficit, sovereign debt issues in Europe and the willingness of businesses and households to commit to major capital purchases. What impact does this have on Utah's nonprofits? Join us for an update on local and international economics as well as information on how to protect your organization from fraud.
The Wells Fargo Economic Summit for Nonprofits was started in 2009 in response to the Great Recession. Utah's nonprofits have been hard hit with decreased funding and increased demand for services. Nearly all of Utah's nonprofits have undergone multiple budget cuts and have had to reexamine and reshape the way they carry out their mission. The Summit provides an opportunity to learn from experts in the fields of economic development, finance and philanthropy. It is and has been an invaluable forum for nonprofits to dialogue, collaborate and problem solve.
