 Welcome to the Osher Lifelong Learning InstituteGreetings, and welcome to the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at The University of Utah. The Institute is a nonprofit, noncredit, learning program for adults 50 and over, and is offered through Continuing Education at the University of Utah. It is a place to learn and a place to connect with other people. The program is large enough to give our members a rich University of Utah experience, yet small enough to accommodate emerging interests and open communication. Members take advantage of beautiful and convenient classroom locations, a wide variety of course offerings, lectures and special events, responsive service, and convenient scheduling. Member to member and member to faculty connections enhance the intellectual experience. Personal relationships often develop here, enhancing the sense of community that is so much a part of Osher. The success of the program is built on the capabilities and enthusiasm of the students, volunteers, and community partners; talented and experienced faculty; and the personal leadership and dedication of the staff.
