About
The Utah Association of Public Treasurers (UAPT)
in partnership with The University of Utah Professional Education
to host the annual Academy. The Academy program provides a three-year
rotating curriculum, information, and material that provides up to 50 education
points towards the Certified Public Finance Administrator (CPFA) certification
awarded by APT US&C.
Instructors are drawn from the University community,
state and local agencies, and the private sector to meet curricular
goals. Instructors are selected based on their subject-matter expertise
and their ability to create a meaningful learning environment for participants.
In addition, UAPT will recommend instructors who have been well-received
at past Academies.

The University of Utah Sandy Campus, located in the heart of Sandy, conveniently located just off I-15 at 10600 South. This campus neighbors Sandy City Hall, South Town Mall, and many dining and entertainment experiences, making a perfect and unique home for the UAPT Academy.
