How do I obtain CE credit for completing the course?

By completing a course evaluation. Students must submit a course evaluation for EACH COURSE THEY COMPLETE. You can find the evaluation link on our website on the "Getting Started" page, or go to: continue.utah.edu/realestate/realeval.php.

Once you have submitted your course evaluation(s), our office will verify that all coursework is complete and will notify the Division of Real Estate directly of your earned continuing education units. A Certificate of Completion will be mailed to you for your records. It generally takes 1 business day for us to report your CEUs to the Division of Real Estate. Please plan accordingly and contact our office Monday-Friday from 8 am to 5 pm if you need this process to be expedited.

Are your courses considered LIVE credit?

Yes. All of our courses count for Continuing Education Units (CEU) and are considered LIVE by the State of Utah Division of Real Estate.

Is there a final exam?

Utah Division of Real Estate regulations do not require continuing education courses to include a final exam. However, students must successfully pass the mastery quiz following each course module in order to proceed to the next module and ultimately complete their course.

I am a U employee - can I get reduced tuition?

Yes, after completion of six months full-time eligible employment (at a .75 FTE or greater before the first day of class), employees may receive 50% off tuition for credit classes, as well as non-credit classes offered through AOCE. This benefit does not apply to classes offered through the Youth Education program. This benefit extends to an employee's spouse after an employee has worked full-time for one year, and unmarried dependent children under age 26 after completion of three years full-time continuous employment.

To use this benefit, eligible employees must fill-out the Tuition Reduction Agreement Form, available through the Human Resources department or online at www.hr.utah.edu/ben/forms/. Once completed, submit this form to the Benefits Department located at 420 Wakara Way STE 105, or fax it to 801-585-7375.

Employees must fill out one form for each term in which they want to take classes; the form does not carry over from term to term. Special fees attached to a class are not included in tuition reduction and must be paid in full. Please contact Continuing Education at 801-581-6461 for clarification of class tuition and special fees if needed.
