![]() Is My Class Canceled? Can I get to it?The weather is terrible! What do I do? Continuing Education follows The University of Utah's policies and procedures concerning class cancellations due to inclement weather during standard operating hours (8:00 am to 8:00 pm), Monday through Friday. Class cancellations on Saturdays and official University holidays are determined on a class-by-class basis and location by location basis. Every effort will be made to contact students concerning class cancellations using the contact information provided during registration. Can I get to my class through the construction on campus? Campus construction is underway on a number of projects, such as the James LeVoy Sorenson Molecular Biotechnology Building at the old golf course, the water line between Huntsman Cancer Institute and Mario Cappechi Drive, and the high temperature water line replacement in the Health Sciences area, just to name a few. In an effort to keep you informed of regular changes to the physical challenges these projects will create, we invite you to check out the website that is being updated on a weekly basis with maps and traffic warnings: You can also call the individual Continuing Education unit office and a recorded message will indicate whether your class has been canceled.
