Beginning Diving (Age 5-18) ( YESPR 39 )

This class is an introduction to the fundamentals of springboard diving. Strong emphasis is placed on developing the basics of approach and entry. Students will utilize the one and three-meter springboards. Instructors will concentrate on developing the mechanics for proper diving techniques in the forward and backward positions. Further skill development in somersaulting and inward dive will be addressed. Students will be divided into ability groups.
