In this journey of straight-line quilting, you'll master the creation of a traditional 9-patch block while refining crucial quilting skills such as precise seam allowances, chain stitching, and effective pressing methods. Explore the concept of the "quilt sandwich" and experiment with various quilt basting methods. You'll walk a way with an impressive envelope-style pillow and the skills to independently pursue your quilting endeavors. Your caring instructor will help you gain confidence as you dip your toes into this historically important skillset.

Summer 2024 Section 1, Starting on: 06/04/2024

This class takes place in person at the University Connected Learning and Continuing Education building (540 Arapeen Drive, SLC). Students provide most of their own supplies; find a list online. Special fee is for shared supplies. We hate canceling classes, but sometimes there are forces outside of our control. Please keep this in mind as you purchase supplies and hang onto your receipt.
