Not-So-Creepy Crawlers (Age 6-8)

Tick! Chirp! Hiss! What's all the buzz about? Explore the lives of our many-legged friends, from crustaceans to insects to arachnids. This camp features living creatures, so the students can learn about them up close and in person, from investigating their anatomy and diet, to learning what makes each bug so unique. We'll also create some un-bee-lievably fun bug-themed crafts!
Learning Outcomes:
- Identify various crustaceans, insects, and arachnids and their unique body plans
- Understand the roles of these of crustaceans, insects, and arachnids in ecosystems
- Create insect-themed crafts, including a temporary bug home
