Introduction to Research Design
Academic Credit

Overview of the fundamentals of research design in education and social science. The course involves the presentation of basic information about the purposes of research, the scientific method, experimental-quantitative and nonexperimental-qualitative methods, and implementation of investigations.

Registration Information: If you are a matriculated student, you must register for credit classes using the Campus Information System (CIS). If you are new to the University, you must first submit an application to the Admissions Office, then register using the Campus Information System (CIS).

Note: This is a hybrid course with students meeting at the UofU's St. George campus each Tuesday (June 25, July 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30). During the remaining part of the week, students will complete activities in Canvas and meet with their student learning groups.
