James Findlay was involved in secondary education as an English and Spanish teacher for six years prior to joining the faculty at the English Language Institute. He has a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy from the University of Utah. As a musician, James plays principal string bass for the Orchestra at Temple Square. He also owns an educational media and consulting business, and has been involved with the writing and production of two historical documentaries now airing on KUED. He and his wife and son reside in Farmington.
