Details and What to Expect

Pre-Departure

Like all Go Learn journeys, the adventure begins at home. We'll make sure you have all the information you need before you arrive in Germany—we'll answer questions about what to pack, how to get around, and our daily itinerary. We want you to arrive in Europe ready to learn!

A trip reunion about a month after returning from Vienna will perfectly conclude our journey. We will exchange pictures and stories while remembering the highlights of our tour. Go Learn expeditions are designed to be small, boutique experiences where one returns with a group of friends. Good food, drink, and company awaits us at this reunion.

About Berlin/Prague/Vienna

This trip is as comprehensive and intense as it is relaxing and fun. Be prepared to enjoy the highlights Berlin, Prague, and Vienna have to offer as well as taking a thorough journey off the beaten path across Central Europe.

Weather

We picked the tour date carefully. Early summer in the region is special, and temperatures are warm during the day and moderately cool in the evenings. Rain and cooler temperatures could occur, but good footwear, layers of clothing, and unfailing optimism will make for happy travels. The high tourist season has yet to start, and locals are eager to please this early in the season.

Activity levels and restrictions

To fully explore the sights on our itinerary, we will be walking every day. The sites we will visit are very walkable. Locals walk everywhere—be it to historical sites or just during everyday life—and we will do the same. When visiting archeological/cultural sites, museums and churches, we may walk long distances or stand on our feet for prolonged times. Be sure to bring comfortable walking shoes! Since we will wake up early with jet lag, we often start our days early and continue until sundown. Our exciting itinerary and daily learning adventures will keep you happily exhausted.
