Session 1 – Wednesday, March 17 - 7 PM

A Bard’s Life in Pictures
We’ll tell the tale of the glover’s son via a photographic journey through Shakespeare sites in Stratford-upon-Avon and London—with stops at such places as the Birthplace, Anne Hathaway’s Cottage, Trinity Church, the Globe Theatre, and the place where the Blackfriars Theatre isn’t.

Session 2 – Friday, March 19 - 7 PM

Love’s Folly: Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream
This lecture-discussion will get us up to speed on one of Shakespeare’s most charming and magical theatrical romps. Beware: there’s a handout!

Session 3 – Saturday, March 20 - 1:30 PM

Attending Dream
We’ll meet in the (zoom) lobby of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and then, using our individual electronic tickets, attend together the RSC’s live production, Dream, a 50-minute interactive exploration of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. We’ll get to be fireflies in the enchanted wildwood. No, really!

Session 4 – Sunday, March 21 - 7 PM

Theatre Chat
This is our favorite part, and what we miss most about London on Stage: talking about our experience. We’ll pretend we’re upstairs in the Stamp Room at the King’s Head pub, and talk and share our discoveries and insights about Dream. You’re on your own for drinks.
