We will have a tour of the spectacular studios, followed by a Q&A session with an NPR reporter. We’ll continue our media exploration with a trip just down the street to C-SPAN’s broadcasting headquarters for a tour of the broadcasting center and meeting with management, followed by a catered lunch on-site. Our final activity of the day takes us to the true focal point of the Washington D.C. political world: Capitol Hill. Today we plan to meet with Utah’s U.S. Senators. This morning we’ll slow down the pace, and shift gears into exploring the history and culture of African Americans in U.S.; the day is ours to spend at the unparalleled National Museum of African American History and Culture (NAAMHC).
