The art of illustration transcends drawing to become a form of visual communication that is infused with one's own personal style. A unique blend of art and design, illustrations can be used for brand imaging, advertising, children's books, journalism, comic books and personal or small business materials. This workshop will give you a quick, fun, and engaging introduction in how to take your drawings to that next level. Students will be guided by a professional illustrator as they begin to find their voice using pen, ink and colored pencil. No previous experience in illustration is required, but students must have completed LLART68 Beginning Drawing or the equivalent. For this online class, students will have a unique virtual experience through the use of the most current technology and creative software to witness hands-on demonstrations by the instructor, learn creative new techniques, take part in group critiques, and get their questions answered in an interactive way.
