Get Outside and Oil Paint!
Lifelong Learning
Join a local artist and your fellow nature enthusiasts for a wonderful day of plein-air painting in the great outdoors. You will learn to sketch and find interesting compositions, discuss the basics of color theory and atmospheric perspective, and combine these techniques to create small oil paintings and studies. Get a taste of everything in this workshop including demonstrations, group critiques, and individual feedback. Some oil painting experience is encouraged.

Summer 2023 Section 1, Starting on: 06/03/2023
This class takes place in person at Canyon Rim Park (3100 S Grace St, Millcreek). Class is limited to 12. Students are responsible for their own materials; find a list online. We hate canceling classes, but sometimes there are forces outside of our control. Please keep this in mind as you purchase supplies and hang onto your receipt. Email our office at lifelong@continue.utah.edu to inquire about the status of a class.
