Acrylic Pet Portrait
Lifelong Learning
Unleash your inner artist and create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece portrait of a beloved pet! You will learn how to transfer a photo to canvas, how to mix and combine colors, paint with acrylic, and add texture and shading. By the end of the class you will have a finished pet portrait worthy of a frame and all the tools and skills you need to create more. This class is ideal for students who are new to art and painting, but everyone is welcome!

Class Sections For Acrylic Pet Portrait (LLART 373)
Fall 2022 Section 1, Starting on: 09/21/2022
Taught by Jodie Milad. This class takes place in person at the University Connected Learning and Continuing Education building (540 Arapeen Drive, SLC). Students should bring two copies of an 11x14-inch pet photo. The photo should contain just one pet and be clear, well-lit, with the pet filling the page (less background, more pet).
