Watercolor Birds at the Aviary

Shatter your artistic limitations by learning gesture drawing with a brush! We will create simple watercolor interpretations of the vast array of incredible bird species at Tracy Aviary. Our online portion will help you grasp the effects of light and shade while increasing your understanding of how to manipulate your brush.

Class Sections For Watercolor Birds at the Aviary (LLART 393)
Summer 2023 Section 1, Starting on: 05/30/2023
This class takes place online on Tuesdays, and at Tracy Aviary (589 E 1300 S, SLC) on Saturday. Student supply their own ticket to the aviary and are responsible for their own lunch. Students supply their own materials; find a list online. We hate canceling classes, but sometimes there are forces outside of our control. Please keep this in mind as you purchase supplies and hang onto your receipt. Email our office at lifelong@continue.utah.edu to inquire about the status of a class. *Our classes LLART 392 Gesture Drawing at the Zoo and LLART 337 Beginning Drawing for Watercolor are great accompaniments to this class.*
