Accompanied by a local artist and a local landscape design expert, you'll gain essential drawing skills, insights into form, color, and texture, and techniques that will empower you to appreciate the beauty around you. The highlight will be a field trip to apply your new-found art skills in real-world settings. Class Sections For Visual Journaling: Observation and Art in the Garden (LLART 424)

Spring 2024 Section 1, Starting on: 04/16/2024

This class takes place in person at the University Connected Learning and Continuing Education building (540 Arapeen Drive, SLC). Special fee is for all needed materials. Saturday session is a field trip, exact location announced in class. Students are welcome to bring magazines or paper to be torn and shared as collage material.
