Macrame - An Introduction
Lifelong Learning

Macrame is an ancient craft that originated with Arabic weavers during the 13th century and has also secured a place in the lexicon of contemporary fiber art. Learn a bit of this history, five different commonly used knots, and pattern design. Then put your fingers to work as you create a modern wall hanging for home decor. Sit or stand as you make your knots; your work-in-progress will hang from a crossbar rather than being taped down to a table. Special fee covers all materials to be used in class.
