Pet First Aid and CPR II: Field Day

This class will allow students to practice hands-on pet first aid skills (exams, bandaging, etc.) while on the trail! We will also review skills like recall, emergency stop, and other useful pieces of training for trail safety. This is an EASY hike; beginner hikers are welcome. Only one dog per student, please. Dogs brought to field day must be vaccinated, spay/neutered, and friendly toward other dogs and strangers. Find a list of materials to bring online. Prerequisite: LLPOT 605 Introduction to Pet First Aid and CPR.

Summer 2021 Section 1, Starting on: 07/17/2021

This is an in-person class and meets outside. All in-person interactions require mask-wearing and 6 feet of physical distancing. Students will meet in the south parking lot at 540 Arapeen Drive in SLC and hike along the Bonneville Shoreline Trail. Only one dog per student, please. Dogs brought to field day must be vaccinated, spay/neutered, and friendly toward other dogs and strangers.
