Dive into the fascinating world of smaller, emerging religious movements both within and beyond the major global traditions of Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Islam. In this course, we'll delve into the worldviews, stories, and practices of several of these unique traditions that have evolved or emerged over the past 300 years. Our exploration will encompass a diverse range of beliefs, including Baha'i, Rastafarianism, Rajneeshi, Paganism, Scientology, the Orisha diaspora, and the Native American Church. Join us on this enlightening journey to understand the rich tapestry of contemporary religious diversity.
