NOTICE: Continuing Ed is open and waiting to hear from you. Our office at 540 Arapeen is open from 9am-4pm Monday through Friday to assist you in person. If you need immediate assistance, please call us at 801.581.6461.
Night and snow biking can be intimidating, so why not have an expert help you learn the ropes? Join us to learn the equipment you'll need to ride at night - what kind of lights to get, where to place them, and where to go. We'll talk about riding in the snow (AKA fat biking) and in the rain, the best equipment to have, layering, and how to keep yourself warm while riding at 20 degrees. Learn what tire pressures are best for getting traction in the snow and what mud guards and rain guards can do to protect you from soggy conditions. And, to keep your loved ones happy, we'll address GPS devices, trailside maintenance, what first aid items are handy to carry on you, and best practices to make your night ride as safe as possible. Students should have some experience mountain biking and be able to ride moderately difficult trails with success.
