Enjoy moving to the beat and making new friends while you experience modern dance styles from countries around the African continent. With the guidance of an experienced dance professional, you'll explore Makossa from Camaroon, Coupé-décalé and Ndombolo from Ivory Coast, and Afro House/Kuduro from South Africa and Angola. The dances, which merge traditional movements with modern street-style, will offer a greater understanding of the cultures from which they originate. No dance experience required; all are welcome.
