Kickstart Your Story
Lifelong Learning

Are you in the middle of a writing project but you've run out of steam? Discover ways to redirect your story, wrangle your characters, and find out where your moment is hiding in this intensive workshop. Topics will include: sagging middles; unknown endings; unruly characters; and the truth about writer's block and how to get control of it. Through critique sessions and feedback, worksheets, writing activities, open discussion, and lots of friendly support, you'll kickstart your project and rekindle the inspiration that made you want to begin in the first place. Please submit 10 pages of your work 1 week before class starts. These pages will be shared with your fellow students. For writers at any stage of their novel, novella, short story, young adult novel, middle grade book, or chapter book.
