Getting Your Written Work Published
Lifelong Learning

So you're ready to start submitting some of your polished writing for potential publication? In this session, students will learn the ins and outs of getting their written work ready for publication. Whether you have a short story, a few poems, or a full-length manuscript, the session will help guide you through the preparation process, how to find the right place to submit to, and ways to work through rejection--it happens! Taught by a widely-published writer and experienced book and literary journal editor, this class will give students first-hand knowledge of what editors look for and how to make their work stand out among the slush pile.
