This course is designed to introduce students to the emerging ethical, legal, and social issues facing the field of genomic medicine. Students are expected to identify, understand and engage with the fundamental ethical, legal, and social issues pertinent to human participation in genomic medicine research with an array of didactic content, case studies and other activities.
This noncredit class meets with a regular University of Utah credit course.
