Required course for the major. This course is a continuation of 3040. Continued development of all four skills (speaking, listening, writing, reading) in all areas at the paragraph level, through the study of grammar, expressions, and socio-cultural knowledge needed to communicate at the intermediate level. 150 new kanji will be introduced, bringing the total number to 650.

This noncredit class meets with a regular University of Utah credit course. Students can purchase any assigned hardcopy textbooks through our Campus Bookstore.
