Applied Regression Analysis I
Academic Noncredit

The course will take a pragmatic approach to teach the topic of regression analysis and cover preparing data for analysis, fundamentals of linear and multivariable regression models, model diagnostics, remedial measures, interpreting results, statistical programming, and scientific writing. Learners will be given lab-based assignments each week that corresponds to the topic covered in class. The course will culminate in a final project where learners will design a study using regression analysis on a large dataset to examine predictors of patient outcomes. Project results will be presented and a manuscript will be submitted.

This noncredit class meets with a regular University of Utah credit course.
