Class Sections For Backpack Fly Fishing in Southern Utah (PRTL 133)

Spring 2022 Section 70, Starting on: 02/16/2022

Students will learn the fundamentals of fly-fishing, including casting, equipment selection, entomology, and river ecology. Curriculum includes backpacking instruction, including trip planning, basic navigation, and Leave No Trace camping and travelling techniques. Class meets on-campus on February 16 only. Attendance at first class meeting is mandatory. Field experience will be March 11 to March 13.
