Reconnect with nature—and yourself—on this three-day immersive course that focuses on the practice of mindfulness and meditation. Each day begins and ends with guided meditation and yoga, helping you cultivate mindfulness, inner peace, and a deeper sense of presence. Camp under the stars in a peaceful outdoor setting, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the natural world. Learn hands-on outdoor cooking and camping skills as you prepare nourishing meals over an open fire, camp stove, or Dutch oven. The course strikes a thoughtful balance between active movement and quiet reflection, fostering physical vitality and mental clarity. Whether you're new to camping or an experienced adventurer, this journey offers a powerful reset for your body and mind.

This noncredit class meets with a regular University of Utah credit course. Students can purchase any assigned hardcopy textbooks through our Campus Bookstore.

Field experience will be Sept 25-27.
