Russian Fairy Tales
Academic Noncredit

This course introduces students to Russian folklore through the genre of fairy tales (from oral tales to literary fairy tales and film versions) in their aesthetic, historical, social, and psychological contexts, so as to acquaint them with structures of thought underpinning modes of Russian culture and behavior. Readings and discussion in English.

This noncredit class meets with a regular University of Utah credit course.
