CHRISTOPHER STONE

After receiving B.S. degrees in both mathematics and physics, I began my teaching career in Kenya (East Africa), spending three years at Nyandarua Secondary School and four years at Alliance Girls' High School. Postgraduate studies brought me to Salt Lake City for a Ph.D. (in relativity theory) at the University of Utah's Department of Physics, where I am currently an Assistant Professor (Lecturer). I have been teaching for Continuing Education at the University of Utah since 1995, and also at Bountiful High School since 1997. Professional organizations that I am a member of include the American Association of Physics Teachers, the Society of Christian Philosophers, and the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. I live in Ogden with my wife (Dr. Wangari wa Nyatetu-Waigwa, a professor of French at Weber State University) and our two children.
