MIRANDA MCCARVEL

Miranda is a recent graduate from the University of Utah with a Ph.D. in linguistics. She has a B.A. in Liberal Studies and an M.A. in linguistics from the University of Montana. At the University of Montana, she taught ESL. She has also taught linguistics and ESL for the University of Utah's Department of Linguistics. Her research focuses on phonology and morphology with a secondary research interest in higher education pedagogy.
In her spare time, Miranda enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, baking, gardening, reading, hiking, backpacking, and rafting.
