This course will cover the History of Flight from its 17th century beginningsto the present day. We start with the Chinese kites and progress through the years. We look at Newton's First Law in layman's terms on how objects move with no force and keep moving without propulsion. We examine various theories found in mechanics. We learn about military, commercial, and private aircraft, and we will also consider the future of air travel.
