Osher Special Events provide a way for members to learn about our surrounding community and to stay connected when classes are not in session. Four Osher Special Events are included in the basic membership per term. RSVP's are required, and can be done by selecting your desired event below.

Mrs. Cavanaugh's Chocolate Factory

Visit one of Utah's most well-known chocolate candy manufactories. Learn about the history of chocolate and of this family-owned and -operated company. Watch a demonstration of hand-dipping and observe the chocolate factory operations from the balcony. Mrs Cavanaugh's Chocolates have been made and distributed since 1964 and have won numerous awards, including Best in State. A $1 fee will be payable in cash at the time of event.
