Osher Special Events provide a way for members to learn about our surrounding community and to stay connected when classes are not in session. Four Osher Special Events are included in the basic membership per term. RSVP's are required, and can be done by selecting your desired event below.

Marcie's Movie Guide: Filmexico Cultural Tour

Filmexico is an annual contemporary Mexican film tour (usual held in-person at Broadway Centre Cinemas) presented by Salt Lake Film Society, Consulado de Mexico en Salt Lake City, and Artes de Mexico. Marcie will review the films and also the free community panels - all of which will be available November 13-19, 2020 at www.slfsathome.org. This year's lineup includes especially relevant documentaries and stories about bees, the Mexican Galapagos, Afro-Mexican communities, and a very special screening of the Sundance 2020 world dramatic audience award-winning film.
