Virtual Event: The Penelope Program and the Making of One In A Million

Tyler

By the time Tyler turned 10, he had lost his ability to walk, see, and hear, yet the cause of these maladies remained a mystery. His family turned to University of Utah Health, where scientists searched Tyler's DNA for clues to his condition. What they discovered led to a life-changing treatment for Tyler and his family.

Directed by Sundance veterans and acclaimed filmmakers Jeremiah Zagar (We the Animals) and Ross Kauffmann (Tigerland) and produced by Heather Kahlert and award-winning documentarian Geralyn White Dreyfous, this film tells the story about how a team of dedicated scientists and doctors worked tirelessly to unlock a medical mystery that changed the life of one remarkable boy.

Join us as we screen (One In A Million) and join a panel of scientists and storytellers as they dive into the making of the film and the vital impact of the Penelope Program.
