Osher Special Events provide a way for members to learn about our surrounding community and to stay connected when classes are not in session. Four Osher Special Events are included in the basic membership per term. RSVP's are required, and can be done by selecting your desired event below.

In-Person Event: Guadalupe School Visit

For over 55 years, Guadalupe School has served our city's diverse community by educating students, the majority of whom are Hispanic and Latino. Guadalupe programs serve children from birth through sixth grade, with a focus on literacy. Guadalupe School also teaches English and citizenship classes and provides career pathway planning to adults; thus serving the entire family. With our tour, we will get to see this special school that offers so much to our immigrant families. We invite you to bring a small donation of school supplies, but it isn't required.
