Course Description

In 2016, video accounted for 73% of all consumer internet traffic, and is projected to account for 82% by 2021. YouTube is the second most visited website on the internet. Four times as many customers would rather watch a video about a product than read about it. There's no doubt that video is one of the most popular and effective forms of media. And whether you're a marketer, journalist, entertainer, or educator, video production is becoming an increasingly important professional skill. Creating video content can be challenging and resource intensive--but it doesn't have to be. In this class you'll learn what makes a great video and how to create one, even with limited resources. In this course, you'll learn what makes great video (hint: it's not always fancy equipment or famous actors) When to use video, and when not to. Types of video and their benefits and drawbacks. Proven techniques for creating engaging video content. Strategies and tools for creating video with limited resources. Sources of inspiration for great video content.
