Cosplay Creations (Age 12-17)
Youth Education
Cosplay is the practice of dressing up as a character from a movie, book, or video game (including Japanese manga and anime). In this class, we will design and create your cosplay character using cosplay costuming techniques. This class focuses on creativity and sustainability and thereby the designs will incorporate upcycled materials. Some sewing experience is helpful but not required. Co-sponsored with Higher Ground Learning.
Learning Outcomes:
- Design your own Cosplay character
- Study sustainable clothing practices
- Learn and augment sewing skills

Camp held at Higher Ground Learning, 380 West Pierpont Avenue, Salt Lake City, UT 84101. Reminder emails will be sent out before camp begins and will include location notes and other details.
