Constructing the Human Form: Figure Drawing & Basic Anatomy (Age 14-17)

Hands, faces, heads, the human figure, all super hard to draw, right? In this class we cover all of those "hard to tackle" parts of... ourselves! Learn the methods to help simplify some of these challenging forms and then how to put them on paper. Together we will practice drawing gestures and basic anatomy. This is a great class for any young artist or aspiring character designer ready to challenge themselves and take their art to the next level. Co-sponsored with Higher Ground Learning.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Study the anatomy of the human figure
  • Develop efficient figure drawing skills
  • Gain experience drawing from a live clothed model

No camp on Monday, June 17. Camp held at Higher Ground Learning, 380 West Pierpont Avenue, Salt Lake City, UT 84101. Reminder emails will be sent out before camp begins and will include location notes and other details.
