Comic Book Art (Age 14-17)

Superheroes. Evil villains. Doomsday machines. The fate of the universe rests in your hands and how you decide to draw it. This exciting course teaches the traditional illustration mediums and professional process comic creators use. We'll discuss techniques for developing characters and story as well. Please come to the first class with a concept in mind. By the end of this week you will have a fully finished inked page to start your comic story!

Learning Outcomes:

  • Create an original visual narrative in sequence
  • Learn the process of developing a sequential illustration
  • Learn traditional B/W penciling and inking techniques
