Storyboarding Art for Entertainment (Age 12-14)

Embrace your inner storyteller in this introductory class. Storyboarding is the skill of visually outlining a story for films, comics, illustrations or YouTube videos. You'll produce a blueprint of your story in its simplest form then draft your storyboard in a way that communicates to your target demographic. Spend the week studying and implementing techniques of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, DC and many others.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Understand cinematography terminology and composition techniques
  • Understand how to read a script and translate it into a pre visualized sequence of images
  • Learn the process visual storytelling through drawing
